Ancient Chamori Crab Delight
The Taotaomo'nas of Guahan, Saipan, Tinian and Rota developed an insatiable craving and
passion for the Ayuyu. The crab was so abundant in ancient times that ayuyus were crawling everywhere. The taotaomo'nas concocted many different ways of preparing the crab meat for
1 lb. fresh Ayuyu meat.
2 bunch, Chamori green onions, chopped.
10 pieces hot donne' såli
1 large coconut, grated
4 teaspoon of lemon juice.
Boil crab and remove meat from shell.
Shread crab meat.
Add grated coconut, Chamori green onions, donne' såli, lemon juice.
Mix thoroughly and let sit for an hour.
Add salt and black pepper to taste.
